I have to admit that I am usually late to start in every new technological trends and craze. That is why it took me long enough to even get an iPod, and my first baby step was to actually get the iPod shuffle to ease me into life as an iPod user. My shuffle has been truly good to me, but with all of the new fancy and awesome iPod advances, I have to admit that I feel a little embarrassed. The device I listen to my whole music collection on is about the size of a cracker, depending on what kind of crackers you like, while there are other people out there who are e-mailing and using GPS on their huge iPod Touches. I think it is time to say goodbye to my old friend with four buttons ( the grandma iPod, if you will) and move onto bigger and better things, like my new iPod Touch. It is a hard moment because my shuffle has always been there for me, but I knew know that he or she would be very happy for me in all of my new endeavors! And so is my son, by the way, because he inherited my iPod shuffle, ha ha.
