Weird, I know… and this is how I found out about my mom being on Twitter! I guess there is absolutely nothing wrong with my mom using a social media site like Twitter, especially since I see so many people who are my parents’ age on there regularly, but it just shocked me when she popped up. I primarily use Twitter for fun and connecting with my friends, even though I know that a lot of people get on there for business purposes and networking. I guess that could potentially be in my future if I ever decide to launch my own personal website, but for now it is just fun.
I really didn’t think I could go one more thing on my plate besides MySpace and Facebook, but Twitter is so fun and addicting! And basically, you are supposed to follow people, and then they follow you. So I usually get a little alert when someone wants to follow me, and that is how I found out that my mom was following me on Twitter! I saw her full name right there with her little picture, and then I looked on her profile, and she had more followers than me!
