Oh, yes, summer time is upon us, and you better believe that I am all about laying by the pool as often as possible. The only downfall is that I live in a very popular college apartment building, so that means that any time that I want to relax and read a book by the pool, I have to compete with about 10 to 15 college kids doing things like drinking bottles of champagne in the pool. The other small issue that I have about my crazy college apartment pool is the fact that any time that I want to have a little BBQ or gathering, I also have to compete with almost 30 college kids on the weekend that had the same idea and have left their cans of beer floating in the pool. This is normally not that big of a deal, but I did throw a friend a baby shower at our pool, and it was a little disappointing to see kids partying the entire time when this was supposed to be a nice and mellow event. I probably shouldn’t be complaining since I do have the opportunity to turn on my iPod and zone out next to a beautiful pool any day that I like, but still!
