I have lived in the South for most of my life, but I have never line danced. Is there something wrong with me? I never thought anything about this fact in what I was lacking, that is, until I saw it this funny YouTube video on my iPhone with some expert line dancing. Of course, it is humorous because line dancing looks mildly hilarious to the spectator, but I have to tell you the truth, which is that I felt a little bit jealous. Here I am, living in the South for the majority of my life, and I have never picked up this acquired skill.
I decided to take it a step further and check out a tutorial on YouTube on my iPhone so that I would be prepared if I ever came upon the need to line dance. Luckily, I do live alone, so there is no issue with a roommate or significant other thinking that I am totally crazy for spending up to two hours line dancing in my living room at night. What’s that about? Regardless, I have a little more self confidence and feel more proud to live in the South, simply because of the fact that I have acquired a new skill – line dancing!
