This story is truly horrifying to me because a woman in Texas found a frozen frog in her green beans that she was cooking. I personally can tell you that I would have hit the roof in seeing a frozen frog in my vegetables, and I am pretty sure that this woman did the same thing. She didn’t know what it was the first, and she thought that maybe it was another vegetable, but then she ended up seeing that it had eyes. This particular frozen frog came from the Wal-Mart brand green beans, and so she reported what happened to them right away.
It turned out that Wal-Mart made her even more upset because they didn’t get back to return her call, so she had to keep calling about the frozen frog issue. All they wanted to do for her as a result was give her a coupon for more green beans, which would total a dollar. Totally ridiculous! What this woman ended up having to do was contact the news to bring this problem to everyone’s attention, so it probably would have been in Wal-Mart’s best interest to actually take care of her problem when it happened. I don’t know about you, but I am feeling pretty skeptical of frozen vegetables right about now…
