I am a sucker for primetime television shows, and this week begins the new fall lineup for many TV stations. Last week, we already had The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Community. I am a person that absolutely loves medical dramas, and I’m not sure what the attraction is. I think that it has to do with the action and the thrill of a medical drama show, especially since there are so many characters constantly being introduced as patients. That creates a pretty interesting mix in the cast, and it offers a tantalizing plot for the entire episode.
I am looking forward to seeing the two-hour season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy this week and also Mercy. Mercy is a medical drama about nurses, but since I am a lover of medical dramas, I won’t be selective in any way. I have been watching the trailer for both of these episodes on my iPhone, and I have to admit that I am already hooked. The Grey’s Anatomy two-hour season premiere is going to be watched by quite a few people, especially since Season Five left so many cliffhangers. As for Mercy, we will see what this show is all about, but I just hope it lives up to the standards that other medical dramas have set.
