I am not that old myself, but I have to tell you how appalled I am at “kids” these days! I live close to a high school, so every time I am driving around, I see all of the kids driving out of school texting on their cell phones. That is incredibly dangerous, and I know that a lot of states have made laws where you can’t be on your cell phone while driving, unless you are simply talking on it or are hanging it up. I’m thinking that would be a great law for my area. Also, all of these kids have fancy phones, like the iPhone, which is an awesome phone to have.
I’m just saying that this technology is not something that I am used to because I went to high school a little bit before cell phones became popular for every single person. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be in school now where every student has a high tech device. How can teachers keep kids from using their iPhones and iPods during class? I am all for technological breakthroughs, but I just think that these kids should be much more careful when they are driving so that I don’t get in a fender bender with them!
