kindleSince the iPhone is such a delightfully convenient device, you can download e-books or PDFs on it to read to your liking. Many people prefer this option because it is so compact, and you can take it out with you to lay by the pool, as long as you don’t get it wet. As it turns out, this wonderful feature is threatening the Kindle by Amazon. This report was released recently to show that many of the features of the iPhone that allow users to read e-books or PDFs are threatening the use of the Kindle as an electronic book device.

The iPhone has many different book applications, and they have even become more popular than game apps in the past few months. Many of the books available on the iPhone overtook the popularity of game applications, with one in five of the applications being downloaded in October as book apps. If you are someone who likes to read on the go, then it is very convenient to be able to read an e-book on your iPhone. Why would you wait till you are at home on your computer to read the e-book that you have downloaded? Now you can check it out when you have downtime with your handy iPhone.
