You can easily tone down the spice on hot and spicy foods by sleeping on your left side. This reduces acid reflux, which is often caused if you sleep on your right side. The reason for that is that sleeping on your right side will leave your stomach higher up than your esophagus, so stomach acids will move up your throat.
• If you have a toothache, you can simply rub ice on the back part of your hand between your index finger and thumb. This reduces tooth pain by up to 50%, especially compared to using no ice at all.
• If you burn your hand while making soup on the stove, apply a small amount of pressure to the hand that has not been burned. This will reduce the pain on the other hand, and you can also use ice to soothe the burn on your hand.
• Last of all, if you want to protect your eyesight, close your eyes throughout the day at work, take a deep breath, and release your muscles. This will work to relax your eyes regularly.
