Prevent Chronic Back Pain

If you are like myself, you have a standard 9-to-5 job facing a computer. Although this is common for many Americans, it also poses the problem of hunching over the computer and struggling with severe back pain. I decided to look up some helpful tips to treat this issue on my iPhone to give us all some much needed relief!
Many people try to rest their backs the moment that they experience pain. However, lying idle with a bad back can cause further harm as the muscles atrophy. Instead, it is best to stay active so that the muscles in your back can remain strong, even if you are experiencing pain. If you do have sore and stiff muscles in your back, the best thing that you can do is to apply heat to relax these muscles. It would also be helpful to go on a walk to reduce stiffness and weakness in your back. If the pain simply won’t go away, you may want to try to wait for several days to see if you experience improvement. After you have recovered, you can take the opportunity to do strength training exercises to protect your back from further pain and injury!
