The iPad is one of the latest offerings by Apple, and I have to tell you that it looks quite interesting. Basically, it seems that it can do everything that the iPod touch can do, but it’s much larger so you can download books, etc. It is said to hold up to 1300 books. Some people scoff about this concept and wonder where you may possibly need 1300 books at one time. However, if you want to have an entire library on hand, then why not have it in something as simple as this device?

I like the fact that it is much bigger than normal, and I’m thinking that it is something that the older demographic may also like, namely my mother. It will be much easier to e-mail with two hands, read books, look at the pictures, and resume all of your normal iPhone activities on a bigger device. It seems pretty affordably priced at around $499, but it is probably going to need iPod repairs. If you think of how many people break the screens on their iPhone or iPod touch, I can only imagine that it will get much worse with the big screen on this brilliant new addition to the market.
