Do You Want the iPad?

It is going to be interesting to see how many people actually purchase the iPad, and if it lives up to their expectations. Recent surveys have shown that people are not as interested in the iPad, but we all know how skewed those results can be since once someone you know gets this device, you will probably want it too. Many people feel that it is simply a bigger version of the iPod touch, but what if that was exactly what you were looking for? What if you simply wanted a bigger screen to play apps on or look at pictures?

I think one of the best features is that the iPad can be set up as a digital photo frame, which we all know can be pretty expensive. If you can get a bigger and better device, and if it can also give you different features and save you money in purchasing a digital photo frame, then what’s not to love? Just as a word of advice, keep in mind that iPad repair may be a viable option since it is much more delicate than a bulkier and sturdier laptop. That is just a small price to pay for the convenience the iPad will provide.

This app also has Oprah’s Latest News so that you can stay up-to-date on the latest happenings in her life. There are videos available through this app, and you can also stay connected to her on Twitter through the Tweets section of this iPhone app. There are also a number of blogs discussing Oprah featured on this app for some light reading. Pretty much, this is an expert source for Oprah information if you just can’t get enough of her show. We all know that she is ending her show soon, so maybe this app will receive a few more regular downloads? It’s quite affordable at only $.99, so why not stay connected to all that is going on with Oprah through the convenience of your iPhone. It just makes sense!

More iPhone Users Than Ever!

Everywhere you look, you can see someone using an iPhone. The fact of the matter is that there are more iPhone users in the United States than ever, surpassing the users of Windows Mobile for the first time ever! Currently, there are almost 9 million users of the iPhone in 2009, which is very much ahead of the 7 million Microsoft users. However, the iPhone is still second in line to the Blackberry, which has up to 15 million users.

iPhone users are addicted to this device for all of the convenience that it provides, like e-mail, text, pictures, GPS, and a number of apps. If you are an iPhone user, then you probably discovered by now just how much you can do with your device, including getting online wherever you are at, copying and pasting text, and now sending photos through text as well. It seems that Apple is hoping to advance the iPhone more than ever, so iPhone users can rejoice with all of the updates and technological advances foreseen in the future. When you compare this to all of the other devices on the market, it seems that the iPhone is neck and neck to leading the race!

What About Snail Mail?

I am a huge fan of my iPhone, don’t get me wrong. In fact, all of my work is done directly over the Internet and through e-mail, so that is a technology that is very important to me. The only thing that I kind of miss is the novelty of snail mail, which is why I still like to send letters through the post now and then. This will normally catch people off guard, especially when I ask for their address. They seem pretty confused that I actually want to send them a physical letter, especially since no one does that anymore.

E-mail is a wonderful technology, and I love being able to send it directly from my iPhone, but it still is great to receive a card or letter in the mail from time to time. I remember writing to my grandmother when I was little, and that is something that hardly anyone does anymore. In fact, I would wager to bet that most people do not have any kind of stationary at all because who even sends letters through the mail these days? I hope that we can come to a compromise and still send snail mail, even with the wonderful convenience of having an iPhone on hand.
